1 Device Introduction

1.1 Application Scope
The WGB-871A microcomputer-based comprehensive protection device is suitable for various power distribution and consumption sites with voltage levels of 10kV and below. The device adopts multiple adaptive technologies and design concepts, facilitating engineering selection and on-site application. It can be flexibly configured according to the application scenario, with protection objects including line protection, plant transformer protection, capacitor protection, motor protection, and busbar (section) charging protection. Line protection is applicable for lines and feeder protections at 10kV and below voltage levels; plant transformer protection is suitable for plant transformers, station service transformers, or grounding transformers at 10kV and below voltage levels; capacitor protection is used for shunt capacitors installed in power distribution and consumption sites at 10kV and below voltage levels; motor protection is designed for small and medium-sized asynchronous motors below 2MW at 10kV and below voltage levels;

Charging protection measurement and control device is applicable for busbar (section) charging protection at 10kV and below voltage levels.
